We had just arrived, settling into our new home in the middle of a rickety town. Discussion with neighbors reveals the existence of an underground mall complex. “It’s the popular hangout area”, they claimed. Every building in town had a secret hatch that led to the mall, the structure spanning the entirety of the town.
I entered through the hatch in our new home, getting lost amongst the non-Euclidean shifting halls of the mall. A cop found me and sat me down in a dark room, in the center of which sat an incredibly large statue. The cop told me he would be back, but he had to go turn the lights on. The lights never did come on, and in place of the cop’s return a kid wandered into the room. The two of us decided it was time to escape, finding an exist of our own.
We would discover that exit together, but the place the exist led to was unrecognizable. Before I had time to think the kid ran off into the trees, being more sensible I would follow a small foot path leading me to a parking lot. I proceeded to steal one of the vehicles and drive off into the sunset, eventually stumbling into a large New York style city.
I drove around the city, weaving through on-coming traffic, dodging cars in my stolen Blue Mercedes-Benz GT-R Coupe. Eventually I would stop the car at a store and walk in, attempting to steal another car from the lot. A lady would approach me in the store, an eyepatch over one eye. Together we would board her flying land ship and ride through the city, studying the natural wildlife which managed to survive and thrive in the bustling streets.
Eventually I would jump from the ship, landing peacefully on the sidewalk below, waving to my pirate friend and thanking her for her time and friendship as she flew away into the sunset.
