Humanity had done it, the one thing they had been attempting to do for millennia… They had discovered the most amazing vibrator in existence. It was an ancient relic, which had only just recently been tracked down. It was in the hands of a Londoner. But perhaps the search was in vain.
Jim Carrey’s Robotnik, from Sonic the Hedgehog (2020), stole the vibrator, with the intention to use it as some form of super-weapon. A weapon capable of vibrating the earth’s atmosphere. He held the relic in his hand, triumphantly throwing his fist into the air as the outside of the vibrator came apart and reconstructed itself into a pogo-like device.
Robotnik used the device’s new form to hop throughout the city, vibrationally compressing the air beneath himself to jump into the atmosphere. Richie, Stanley, Beverly, Mike, and Eddie, from IT (2017), watch from the streets of London as Robotnik flies through the air. Intent on stopping him, but not sure how.
