I came home to a massive castle in the middle of a vast and expansive desert. The owner of the castle, a wealthy man who owned a mine, had decided he no longer liked the castle and was beginning construction on a large tiered city to the east. In the process of the construction he abandoned the castle and left all of his slaves to die, and thus the castle broke out into chaos. Factions formed as people warred across the massive structure to survive.

I joined a faction which owned various farming fields in the castle. Inside of a barn on one of the fields we discovered a make-shift plane which we could use to escape, however it was out of fuel. The faction leader designated me as the leader of the mission to retrieve gas from another faction.

I traveled to the eastern side of the castle, a sprawling stone maze of crumbling bridges and towers stretching hundreds of feet into the sky. I looked out at the desert, viewing the massive city being built on the horizon. Canals full of flowing water and luscious greenery between sprawling houses. The bridge I’m standing on shakes a little as my attention is drawn to the bridge’s mouth.

A man in a giant mech suit steps onto the bridge, threatening me. I managed to convince him that we were all in this together and that we needed to work together to escape the castle. He agrees and begins to take me to the faction’s leader. As we walk we discuss how he god his mech and how it may be useful in escaping the castle and making it to the rich man’s city. But we conclude that the city is simply too far, and they would either dehydrate or run out of gas before they could make it.
